About Us

Our Story

Built Where The Desert Meets The Pines

Mount Lemmon climbs from Sonoran desert floor to pine forest in twenty-seven miles — a Sky Island rising out of Southern Arizona. That's where this started.

Nick and Sam run Sawmill Run, a restaurant on the mountain, and Arizona Stray Savers, a dog rescue. The Pack's Snacks began the way real small brands start: making treats in a working kitchen for dogs they were already fostering and rescuing, using the same quality ingredients that go into the restaurant's kitchen. It grew because people who visited Mount Lemmon and met the dogs wanted to feed their own dogs the same way.

Where It Starts

The Mountain

Mount Lemmon's shift from desert floor to pine forest isn't just scenery to us — it's the whole idea behind this brand. Built at the place where two landscapes meet.

The Kitchen

Every batch is made in Sawmill Run's real kitchen, using the same standards and quality ingredients — Arizona ranches, local farms — that go into the restaurant's own menu.

Why It Matters

The Rescue

Arizona Stray Savers isn't a cause we sponsor. It's a rescue Nick and Sam actually run. Every bag ties back to real dogs, real outcomes.

“A mountain restaurant, a rescue, and treats made for dogs that were already part of the family.”
